Increased enforcement around clearways and tow-away zones to create more space on Melbourne’s busiest roads making it easier for people and goods to get around.
From December 2020, we'll be adding ‘tow-away zone’ status to all our arterial road clearways within a 20 kilometre radius of Melbourne’s CBD. This means vehicles will be towed away if they block clearways so that we keep traffic moving across Melbourne during the busy peak times.
